David Myers is a globally recognized chef and restaurateur who has helmed 21 acclaimed restaurants across major cities such as Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Miami, and Los Angeles.

David Myers shot to fame as one of America’s most luminary chefs synonymous with L.A.’s Golden Age and the heyday of fine dining in the early 2000’s, with his first restaurant, Sona, earning him a coveted Michelin star. Beyond restaurants, David lent his expertise to the launch of two luxury chocolate and pastry brands in Los Angeles, which have since grown to 10 locations, including Tokyo. His creative pop-up burger concept, first introduced in LA, has also found its way to Abu Dhabi, reflecting his continued influence on the global food scene.

David’s influence is not only limited to the kitchen but also extends into the world of fashion and media.

She has more than 12 years of experience across independent operators, hotels and agencies, and has managed corporate PR for brands such as BMW, MINI, Qantas and Marriott International. Having launched David’s Dubai ventures in 2017, she now heads up Global Brand Marketing for Adrift and Gypsy Chef™.

Get to know With a deep love for travel, ADRIFT’s resident Gen Z team member, Rohan heads up the strategy and execution of the brand’s social media, as well as content creation and distribution across multiple platforms. His previous work spans both the Red Bull Media House as well as agencies in London, where he has worked with global brands including Cîroc, PepsiCo and Ferrero.

Get to know Paul Pruitt, a veteran operator having worked closely with Chef David Myers for the last 5 years along with chefs Jose Andres, Laurent Tourondel and Roy Choi and restaurateur Stephen Starr, provides a full suite of operational development and support to all of David Myers’ restaurant concepts through his company New School, a boutique hospitality agency specializing in developing ,launching and managing progressive and world-class hospitality concepts.

Get to know Jamaal is an entertainment and lifestyle marketing professional who works closely with David Myers to curate sounds and play lists for each of the ADRIFT venues. As a representative for iconic lifestyle brands such as adidas, Sonos and Calvin Klein, Jamaal has spent the past decade connecting brands with culture through experiential activations. This includes working with global brands such as Netflix, hulu, Warner Bros. and HBO and managing celebrity endorsements.

Get to know Hospitality expert and New Yorker, Gibran Baydoun has a storied career starting first with Hillstone Restaurant Group before working with Ralph Lauren and as Director of Restaurant Operations for Momofuku Restaurants. Gibran has worked with Gypsy Chef™ since relocating to Singapore as well as Marina Bay Sands and other renowned hospitality operations through BYGB, the hospitality consulting firm he founded.

Get to know Owned and operated by prestigious designers, Greg Sato and Min Lee, Finery is a design and manufacturing studio built specifically for elevating the uniform to a craft for the hospitality industry. Based in Los Angeles, they began working with David more than a decade ago after discovering a shared respect and appreciation for culture and great design.
